As entrepreneurs from an early age, we have many times wished that there was a “single source of truth” in how to start a company, build a company and succeed (whatever success means to you!). Of course, no such thing exists. This document tries to cover a lot of territory – some of which they teach you at Harvard Business School 🙂 but mostly things we have learned the good or the hard way. We have the pleasure of having excellent contributors and peer reviewers.
Any and all feedback is welcome. In fact, once this becomes more complete, we will put this on GitHub for anyone to fork and use.
CREDIBILITY
A few words about the authors. The authors are entrepreneurs at heart, who have repeatedly started and built companies. The authors have built companies from nothing, raised debt and equity and taken several companies public. Make no mistake, the authors have all made enough mistakes to fill several volumes. One thing the authors have never done is to do anything at the expense of our or others’ integrity. That’s our claim to authenticity.
